Wilmerding Crime Watch

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Wilmerding Borough Crime Watch is to assist the police department in creating a crime free environment. In order to accomplish our mission, we will:

• Promote resident involvement by increasing awareness

• Be responsive to the service needs of Wilmerding Borough residents in a polite, professional and timely matter

• Be the "eyes and ears" of law enforcement, reporting criminal activity and thus reducing crime

• Increase law enforcement presence and awareness by making random Community patrols and assisting with various activities sponsored by the police department

Wilmerding Borough Crime Watch is a voluntary group of members devoted to the improvement and maintenance of a desirable quality of life for the residents of Wilmerding Borough.

Scheduled meetings serve as a forum for neighbors to communicate with each other and to communicate with the police department regarding concerns and action plans. Wilmerding Borough Crime Watch honors diversity in the Community.
